Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market is once again looking to recruit more than 200 people to support its stalls when it returns to the city centre next month.
Previously the event’s organisers – Frankfurt Christmas Market Ltd – have taken on temporary local workers, but for the first time people will be able to apply online.
They are looking to fill a range of customer-facing and behind the scenes roles ranging from bar staff, catering assistants and salespeople on gift stalls, to kitchen assistants and porters.
As in previous years there are a mix of part-time and full-time roles working alongside the German stallholders and their core team of staff.
Interviews are due to take place week commencing 1 November, for an immediate start when the market opens on 4 November.
Birmingham’s internationally renowned Frankfurt Christmas Market is set to return to the city on 4 November and running until 23 December.
This year’s event does come with the caveat of change or cancellation, should Covid restrictions come back into effect during the winter.
