The next Birmingham City Council local election takes place on Thursday 7th May 2026, with all 101 seats across Birmingham City Council’s 69 wards up for grabs.
Since new wards were decided in 2016 by the Boundary Commission, all-out local elections in Birmingham will take place every four years.
With the election predicted to be very close, your vote is more important than ever and can really make a difference.
Wards and Polling Stations:
Polling cards were sent out at the end of March. If you didn’t receive yours, you can still vote at your specified polling station, as long as you are registered to vote. Check you are registered to vote.
