A WW1 artillery shell was found at the Lickey Hills Country Park today (Tuesday 22nd November).
The Military of Defence (MoD) bomb disposal squad were called to the popular park following the discovery – after an extensive check on the World War 1 shell – the bomb squad deemed it safe.
A spokesperson for Hagley & Rubery Police said: “It has been checked and deemed safe so will now be used as a door stop by the owner.
