Two teens have been arrested after a disorder in south Birmingham left two in hospital with stab injuries this evening (Tuesday 25th August).
West Midlands Police were called to Grimley Road in West Heath at around 4.45pm where they found a 15-year-old boy with stab wounds. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening but he remains in hospital.
A 16-year-old boy was found with stab injuries nearby in Redgate Close, off The Fairway, Kings Norton. He was taken to hospital and has been arrested on suspicion of wounding.
A third boy, aged 16, also remains in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of wounding.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “The investigation is at an early stage as we work to establish exactly what happened and who was involved.
“Officers remain at the scene this evening, and we’d urge anyone with CCTV, dashcam footage or any other information to get in touch.”
