In the lead-up to the highly anticipated Betfred British Masters 2025, hosted by Sir Nick Faldo at The Belfry this August, Birmingham’s iconic Bull is getting a golfing glow-up.

On Thursday 24th July, visitors to the Bullring Shopping Centre will be treated to a unique photo opportunity and a bit of golfing fun as the famous Bull unveils its brand-new golf-themed look.

As part of a city-wide celebration for the tournament, there will be a pop-up putting green next to the statue where shoppers can test their skills, take selfies with the newly styled Bull, and enter a 24-hour competition to win tournament tickets.

Bringing heart and paws to the fairway, the official charity partner of the Betfred British Masters will be the Guide Dogs this year, who will be on-site at the Bullring with some of their superstar guide dogs, ready to charm fans and raise awareness for their life-changing work. Visitors will have the chance to meet the dogs, snap a few tail-wagging selfies, and learn how Guide Dogs is helping people with sight loss live with greater confidence and independence.

The Betfred British Masters 2025 will take place from 21-24 August at the legendary Belfry in Sutton Coldfield, promising four days of world-class golf, drama and fan engagement, and serving as the final chance to see top players in action before the Ryder Cup.

Sir Nick Faldo, six-time major champion and tournament host, shared his excitement, “The Betfred British Masters is about more than just world-class golf, it’s about bringing the game to the people and celebrating the communities that support it. Dressing the Bull is a brilliant way to get Birmingham buzzing ahead of the tournament.”

He continued, “The Belfry holds a special place in the history of golf, and I’m proud to be hosting this event once again. We’ve got a fantastic field lined up, and I can’t wait to see fans of all ages enjoying the action both on and off the course.”
