West Mercia Police are appealing for information after a woman, in her 70s, was assaulted in Lickey Hills Country Park last Friday (21st March).
At around 2.15pm, an unknown man ran over to the woman, screaming.
He then grabbed her shoulders and headbutted her, causing her to fall to the ground. The victim attended hospital due to her injuries and is now recovering at home.
The man, dressed in ‘scrub-like’ pyjamas and wearing no shoes, is described as white, of an average build and height, with short brown hair.
PC Lauren Kalach from Bromsgrove police said: “We are asking anyone who might have witnessed the incident to get in contact with us.
“The assault took place in the middle of the day, on the bridal path near to the visitor’s centre, with opportunity for witnesses.
