A local hospice is hoping to turn Birmingham fabulously pink between 9th – 11th July to raise vital funds.

The wonderful Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice is calling on the local community (you!) to Go Pink! on Friday 9th – 11th July to celebrate the day (9th) it was officially opened by Princess Alexandra in 1979.

The much-loved charity is calling on all you lovely Brummies (or honorary Brummies!) to “wear it pink, bake it pink, quiz it pink or make it pink” in a bid to raise vital funds for local people living with life-limiting illness.

Take part and fundraise for just 2 hours, during that time our Support at Home service could provide up to 4 befriending calls, to offer a listening ear to those who need it most.

Go Pink! is taking place on Friday 9th – 11th July across the city. To find out more about the campaign and to pledge your support, visit: www.birminghamhospice.org.uk/go-pink
