A brand-new nursery has opened in Selly Oak, which will provide childcare for local children aged between three months and five years.

The Nursery, which is located on Oak Tree Lane, opened on Tuesday 4 February. It has been designed to create a bright, airy and spacious environment, in order to give local children the very best start in life. The centre has a free-flow garden, complete with fun and challenging outdoor equipment, which allows children to enjoy the outdoors as and when they desire.

The purpose-built nursery has been designed with children’s development and fun at its heart. It has spacious suites to suit children of different ages and has specficially been created to feel homely. The new nursery has provided the children with separate areas for rest time, creative play, and meal times.

The food provided is prepared and cooked by their onsite nursery chef.

Caroline Peach, Centre Director at Busy Bees Selly Oak, said: “We’re delighted to have opened the doors to our new nursery, and are so excited to welcome local families inside to have a look around.

“Choosing a nursery is a hugely important decision for parents. They want to find the best environment that is going to help their child develop and thrive in their earliest years. This new setting has so many great features – the children who’ve seen it so far love our free-flowing gardens. We’re looking forward to meeting local people and showing them the fantastic facilities, care and education, we have to offer.”

The Busy Bees nursery has been specifically designed to support its child-centred approach. It promotes the development of creativity, individuality and self-confidence in each child and works in partnership with parents to provide the highest standard of nursery care.
