B31 Voices has once again partnered with Morrisons Rubery to support local children this Christmas.
This year’s Christmas Toy Appeal will support:
- Birmingham & Solihull Women’s Aid: supporting children in south west Birmingham who have been affected by domestic violence and abuse;
- Birmingham Forward Steps (Barnardos): supporting children and families across Northfield District from their Frankley Children’s Centre base.
Morrisons Rubery Community Champion Jane Williams said: “This year, we have chosen two charities who support children in need locally. Domestic abuse sees children suffer and poverty sees children suffer and these two amazing charities do such great work supporting them and their families.
“Please help us to help our future generation by donating if you can.”
B31 Voices director Marty Taylor said: “COVID-19 has added a new level of challenge for families over the last 18 months; especially those who were already under immense pressure, dealing with domestic violence or already struggling financially.
“Yet again, it is such an honour to be able to work with Morrisons to help put smiles on local children’s faces this Christmas and it is humbling how the community always gets behind this appeal.”
Donations of new and unwrapped toys and gifts can be dropped in the donation crate by the community notice board behind the checkouts at Morrisons Rubery, Great Park.
