If you have, work with or encounter kids often then you should definitely know that today is World Book Day!
A day of fun, laughter and dressing up as your favourite literary characters to pay homage to the beautiful world of literature.
This will be WBD’s 19th year to celebrate the work of amazing authors, talented illustrators and of course the fabulous books that entertain, excite, scare, and of course teach :-)
Via www.worldbookday.com “it’s the biggest celebration of its kind, designated by UNESCO as a worldwide celebration of books and reading, and marked in over 100 countries all over the world.”
So if you’re dressing up, let us know, in fact send us photos! (And that goes for you too adults) Let’s see what members of staff are dressing up as! **Our favourite photo will win a £10 WHSmith voucher!**
If you have a favourite book, favourite author, illustrator, whatever, let us know.
