West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision in Lickey that has left a motorcyclist with life-changing injuries.
The collision happened around 4.20pm today (Friday 17th July) at the crossroads of Old Birmingham Road, Twatling Road and Monument Lane, involving a Triumph motorcycle and a white Ford Fiesta.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta failed to stop at the scene. The vehicle was later recovered after being abandoned on Monument Lane.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries.
Police would like to establish who was driving the Ford Fiesta at the time of the collision and are appealing to anyone who saw the vehicle before the collision, witnessed the collision itself, or saw the Fiesta after the collision to come forward.
They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage, CCTV or doorbell camera footage from the areas of Twatling Road, Old Birmingham Road, Rose Hill or Monument Lane around the time of the collision.
