Two people were taken to hospital after separate collisions in Longbridge and Rubery in the last two days.

The first collision involving two cars happened in Bristol Road South, Longbridge, close to the Cliff Rock Road junction, just before 1pm yesterday (Sunday 2nd November)

A West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) spokeswoman confirmed: “One ambulance attended and assessed two male occupants.

“One was discharged on scene whilst the other man was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.”

Emergency services responded to a three vehicle collision in Rubery this morning (Monday 3rd November). The collision, at the Morrisons store traffic lights in Park Way, happened at around 11.30am.

The WMAS spokeswoman confirmed that an ambulance, MERIT trauma team and paramedic officer responded, adding: “The occupant of one car, a woman, received treatment on scene for injuries not believed to be serious before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further checks.”
