The family of a man who died after being struck by a car in Rednal have paid tribute to a “loving son, father, brother and nephew who was everything to us.”
Lee Baker (28) was killed after the incident in Ormscliffe Road just before 5.10pm on Monday (21st July). He sustained serious injuries and sadly died later in hospital.
Two men, both aged 28, were arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of murder. West Midlands Police have been given additional time to question them. A third man, aged 29, was also arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of murder.
In a statement released today, Lee’s devastated family said: “Lee was a loving son, father, brother and nephew. He was everything to us and will be sadly missed. He was loved by everyone.”
The family have asked for privacy at this difficult time.
