West Midlands Police (WMP) have charged a man and a boy with firearm and drug offences in Rubery.

WMP responded to reports of people with weapons in The Doweries last Thursday (27th March).

Aidan Walls, aged 27, and a 17-year-old boy – who cannot be named for legal reasons – have both been charged with possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and having cannabis.

They were due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court (29 March).
