A local restaurant has received yet another accolade, just months after winning a top national award.
The Omar Khayam Indian Restaurant in Bristol Road South has been serving customers in Northfield with authentic Indian cuisine for over 40 years – and it is still run by the same family.
No stranger to receiving awards, in February, the restaurant won a top honour at the second Nation’s Curry Awards, scooping the Recommended Restaurant of the Year 2024 at a glittering ceremony in Manchester showcasing the best curry restaurants and takeaways from across the country. 
The restaurant has been now been awarded a Recommendation Award based on positive reviews and comments from customers on worldwide foodie website, Restaurant Guru.
Proud of their restaurant and their history at the heart of the Northfield community, Omar Khayam is now nominated for a People’s Choice Award at the 2024 Local Hero Awards.
