A local family are inviting people to see their fabulously decorated Christmas house to help raise money for Bliss, a charity which supports families of babies born premature or sick.

The kind hearted family have turned their home on Devon Road, Frankley, into a magical Christmas experience for all, in memory of their daughter, Pheobe, who sadly passed away at the tender age of 4 months old.

Their home is decorated inside and out. Residents are invited in to have a look around, for a small donation, which will go towards the Bliss Foundation.

They switch on the lights at 5pm each day.

Samantha said: “We have finally been able to do our Christmas fundraising event in memory of Pheobe.

“All children will receive a teddy bear wrapped in cellophane of their choice and sweets”

“Face Mask and hand sanitiser will be provided”

“All donations are welcome and greatly appreciated”.

The lovely family are also “looking to hold a mini street party on Christmas Eve outside the house, 5-7pm, with hot chocolate, sweat treats and cake, fingers crossed a visit from Santa, music and really get into the Christmas spirit”.

Be warned, their home is so Chrismassy, even the Grinch would struggle not to feel festive there!’
