We Just Read: Morrisons will bar customers who refuse to wear face coverings from its shops amid rising coronavirus infections.
From Monday, shoppers who refuse to wear face masks offered by staff will not be allowed inside, unless they are medically exempt.
The announcement comes amid concerns that social distancing measures are not being adhered to in supermarkets.
Vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi said the government is “concerned” shops are not enforcing rules strictly enough.”

One would hope it won’t be the Morrison’s staff who will have to confront people who either a) shove their way into the store without wearing masks, and/or b) shoppers will claim they’re exempt but haven’t got any proof, but will insist in going in!
Staff shouldn’t be put in a potentially verbally or physically abusive situation. That’s the job of security staff, and I would hope Morrison’s and other stores, insist on this!
Supermarkets shouldn’t have to provide people with masks. There is no excuse for not having one as they can be purchased incredibly cheaply from places like Poundland.
