West Midlands police arrested a man after receiving reports of dangerous driving near Frankley Beeches Road, Northfield, just before 11.30am yesterday (Tuesday 30th December).
The 47-year-old man was forced to stop when officers used tactical manoeuvres by boxing in the stolen vehicle on the Pershore Road South, by the green island, Kings Norton.
He was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, possession of a bladed article – later on in custody, for causing racially aggravated harassment, alarm or distress.
He remains in police custody today (Wednesday 31 December).
