Three teenagers have been arrested after a boy was robbed of his mobile phone at knifepoint in Kings Norton yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 27th October).
The three boys – aged 14 and 15 – were arrested after the robbery in Wychall Lane at just after 3pm.
Weoley neighbourhood police team tweeted: “Today was a great example of team work where ourselves @firearmsWMP @ResponseWMP and @KingsNortonWMP @BillesleyWMP pulled together to detain a group responsible for knife point robberies in KN. 3 arrested and remain in custody and weapons recovered.”
The trio have been released on bail while West Midlands Police officers continue their enquiries.
