Morrisons are offering a range of delivery options for shoppers who are having difficulty accessing stores or online options during the COVID-19 outbreak. They have put a number of measures in place to ensure the most vulnerable and isolated can get supplies.
On top of this, the supermarket giant has announced today (Tuesday 14th April) that all NHS staff will receive a 10% discount at tills when they show their ID.
The discount will be valid from this Thursday (16th April) and is a thank you to the 1.5 million National Health Service workers. It will last until July 12th when it will be reviewed.
Those isolating or shielding, or the elderly or vulnerable, who can’t get in to the store at Rubery can choose from several options – hopefully with something to suit every need.
David Potts, Morrisons Chief Executive said: “We are playing our full part in feeding the nation [including] ensuring those that are most in need can receive a delivery from a familiar face at Morrisons.”
