Two Kings Norton based police officers are battling it out in a twitter charity challenge.
When relatively new twitter user PCSO Ryan persuaded West Midlands Police colleague PC Sanghar to get signed up to the social networking site, they soon found themselves locked in a battle for followers. After some friendly banter between the two over who could gain the most, they decided it would be a great idea if their ‘dispute’ could benefit charities close to their hearts.
So began the official twitter follower charity challenge!
The first to reach 1000 followers will donate £50 to their favourite charity. PCSO Ryan’s chosen charity is Child Victims of Crime. PC Sanghar will split his donation between testicular cancer charity Balls to Cancer and a breast cancer charity supported by the founders of @FeelEmFriday which promotes breast cancer awareness using blogging and twitter.
Kings Norton based company Finesse Windows have also pledged to double the winner’s donation by generously donating an extra £50!

At time of publishing, @PCSORyanWMP had 931 followers and @KingsNortonCop had 992 . . . GO! :)
