    Salary: £15,000 – £16,800 per annum (actual part-time salary)
    Full-time equivalent: £25,000 – £28,000
    Contract: Permanent | Start date: As soon as possible

    Elmhurst Ballet School is a highly successful vocational ballet school associated with Birmingham Royal Ballet. Located in Edgbaston, just one mile from Birmingham city centre, Elmhurst provides world-class training for up to 200 students aged 11–19, many of whom are boarders.

    We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger and Payroll Officer to join our small, friendly finance team on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, you will take sole responsibility for:

    Managing all aspects of the purchase ledger
    Preparing monthly payroll data for our outsourced payroll provider
    Uploading pension contributions
    Managing petty cash and employee expenses
    Supporting with accounts preparation tasks

    Essential:

    Proven experience in purchase ledger
    Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

    Desirable:

    Experience using SAGE
