A police investigation is underway after a 17 year old girl was raped in woodland close to Waseley Hills Country Park on Thursday afternoon (4th July).
According to the Birmingham Mail, the incident took place at 12.45pm off Gannow Green Lane in Rubery.
In a statement, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said:”We’re investigating after a 17-year-old girl was raped in woodland in Rubery. Officers have been carrying out CCTV enquiries, forensic searches, and other enquiries, as we look to identify the suspect.
“We’ll be offering specialist support to the girl while our investigation continues.”
