Thousands of pounds have been raised for The Animal House Rescue at their annual event in Wythall Park (Sunday 12th May).
The wonderful small charity based in Birmingham takes in unwanted, abused and abandoned animals. They heavily depend on donations and fundraising – their Annual Meet and Greet Fundraiser and Fun Dog Show event is an important date in the calendar.
With several stalls, displays, inflatables, and of course, a dog show, it’s always a community favourite which is fun for the whole family.
This year, a whopping £2767.58 raised.
A spokes person for The Animal House Rescue said: “We would like to say a few thank yous after Sundays Annual Meet and Greet at Wythall Park, we raised a grand total of £2767.58 a fantastic end to an amazing fundraiser.
“First off we have to say a huge thank you to Wythall Park for allowing us to use their grounds, with out it we wouldn’t have had a show.”
“To all the stall holders that came along and supported us, it was lovely to see you all.
To James from Paws Here for judging the dog show and what a difficult job it was with all the stunning canines there.
To Harlequin school of dance for their display in the interval.
To everyone that baked cakes and got them to us for our cake stall (they were scrumptious..we know because we bought some to sample😃.
To Team TAH for all their hard work before, during and after the event and to those that held the fort whilst we were away.
And last but not least to all of you who came along and allowed us to munch your fubabies, spent your money and made the day a roaring success… making more lovely memories.”
“See you all for Bark In The Park on the 18th August at Wythall and again thank you all ❤️”
