Thanks to funding from Birmingham City Council’s Celebrating Communities Funding, Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust are hosting a series of free community events to celebrate the Commonwealth Games coming to Birmingham.
The family-friendly events will take place at local green spaces across Birmingham with the opportunity to take action by getting involved in practical conservation and litter picking, explore with guided walks, learn about wildlife and have fun with craft activities.
Goody bags are also available to people who come along and get involved on the day:

The free My Wild Day of Action events take place at:
- Hill Hook Local Nature Reserve in Four Oaks: Thursday 11th August
- Deer’s Leap Wood Nature Reserve, Edgbaston: Thursday 25th August
- Plus one more date to be confirmed
