West Midlands Police were called after a man was assaulted by an intruder in Northfield yesterday afternoon (10 December).
A man in his 20s was at home on Chaddesley Road when he disturbed a burglar – the incident happened between 13:30-13:45.
The man suffered cuts and bruising to his face.
The intruder fled and nothing is understood to have been taken.
The victim described the offender as: “male, between the age of 35-40, dark hair, black joggers, dark grey hoodie, biggish build”.
