From Woodland Road Surgery:
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PATIENTS
With effect from Monday 16th March 2020 we are STOPPING all Open Surgery and walk in blood test clinics.
This is in response to Covid-19 Coronavirus outbreak, which is currently expected to get worse across the UK. Stopping our walk in services makes it easier for us to prevent cases accidentally being brought into a very busy waiting room.
Instead we are asking all patients who need to see a Dr to call us on 0121 475 1065 and we will arrange for a Dr to call you back.
You can call at any time during the day, you do not need to call first thing in the morning.
If the Dr feels you need to be seen they will arrange an appointment for you.
If you have an existing pre-booked appointment with a Dr or a Nurse this will not be affected by this change, however any patient experiencing dry cough, fever and breathing difficulties (even if mild) should NOT come to the surgery but can ask for a Dr to call them instead.
