Current Year 6 pupils and parents are invited to an open evening and open morning at Balaam Wood School in Frankley next week.
The open evening will begin with a welcome from headteacher Mrs Harris, before families have the chance to take a guided tour around the school, speaking with staff and students. The following morning, families are invited to see the school in action.
Balaam Wood School describes itself as a small school with a strong sense of community and boasts:
- a full transition package to support students as they take the step to joining a new school
- Free uniform and PE kit for all new students
- A place on a two week summer scheme designed to support students in preparing for life in secondary school, giving them a chance to build relationships with other students and staff before they start.
