From St Chad’s Church, Rubery:
Join us for our traditional Christmas Fair. Open from 10am til 1pm on Saturday 15th November.
This event will deliver all the old favorites – a raffle, tombola, bottle stall, books – alongside a couple of less traditional things. Children will be able to come and make some Christmas decorations, get their faces painted or buy a huge stick of candy floss!
It might seem a little early to be getting into the Christmas spirit but fear not, this friendly, family event will gently ease you in to the festive season!
The raffle will offer a selection of fabulous prizes including a lovely hamper that you could either give as a gift or keep as a treat and whilst you’re browsing the other stalls, children can enjoy getting glittery on the children’s craft stall.
Feeling peckish? Then either head to the well-stocked cake stall or over to the refreshments area for a well-earned cup of tea!
Speaking about the event, Rev’d Claire Turner said: “This will be my first Christmas here in Rubery and I can’t wait to welcome people into Church for either the Christmas Fair or one of our welcoming, family-friendly Christmas services. For details of all that’s on offer here over Christmas, pop along to the fair and pick up a leaflet.”
All money raised at the St Chad’s Christmas Fair will support the ongoing work of the church and help maintain this much-loved building for future generations.
For more information about St Chad’s, the Christmas Fair or Christmas services, please email Claire on revclaireturner@gmail.com or pop in to church one Sunday!
