The West Midlands voted for 7 Members of European Parliament (MEPs) on Thursday (22nd May).
Voters select their party of preference and MEPs are selected using the D'Hondt system, a form of proportional representation, explained here on the BBC website.
Elections across Europe have been taking place up until today.
As results cannot be announced until after all European ballots have closed, the declaration of results from Thursday's UK vote have been delayed.

Across the West Midlands, just over 33% of those eligible to vote in the European election have voted – 32.7% in Birmingham and 36.2% in Bromsgrove district.
