
A man — believed to be in his 20s — remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being seriously injured in a motorbike collision in Northfield yesterday afteroon (Monday 25th August).
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed that they were called to the scene in Norrington Road just before 4pm.
Paramedics from two ambulances, a MERIT trauma doctor and a Critical Care Paramedic attended the man, who had come of his motorbike.
The spokesperson said: “On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was found to have suffered serious injuries. He received specialist trauma care at the scene before being taken to […] Hospital.”
Witness Appeal
A West Midlands Police spokesperson confirmed that they are investigating the circumstances of the collision and asked witnesses or anyone with doorbell or dashcam footage which may help their investigations to come forward.
The spokesperson said: “Officers were called to Norrington Road, yesterday (25 Aug) at 4pm, after reports that a motorbike had crashed.
”A man, in his 20s, remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
”Our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are currently working to establish exactly what’s happened.
“They’re urging anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed the collision, or has any dashcam or doorbell footage, to get in touch with us.”
