West Midlands Police have confirmed they are investigating after a man was stabbed in an incident in Northfield on Saturday morning (23rd August).
The assault happened at the roadside on Bristol Road South – opposite the Hawkesley Mill Lane junction – and a police cordon was in place in front of a row of shops and a car wash while police investigated the scene.
The man was stabbed in the leg during the incident. Thankfully, a police spokesperson said that his injuries were: “not thought to be life-threatening.”
