Lucton House Care Home in Bournville is proud to announce that it has achieved the Gold Standards Framework (GSF) Quality Hallmark Award, recognising the team’s commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care for residents and their families.

The GSF Quality Hallmark is a nationally recognised accreditation for excellence in end-of-life care. It is awarded to organisations that can demonstrate that Gold Standards Framework principles are embedded into everyday practice, supporting proactive planning, coordinated care, family involvement and compassionate support at every stage of a resident’s care journey.

Teresa, Home Manager at Lucton House, said: “Achieving the Gold Standards Framework Quality Hallmark Award is an incredibly proud moment for everyone at Lucton House. It has taken a huge amount of commitment from our whole team to reach this standard, and I am so proud of what we have achieved together.

“Most importantly, this accreditation reflects the care we want every resident and family to experience at Lucton House. Understanding each person’s wishes, involving the people important to them and helping our residents live well are at the heart of what we do.”

The accreditation will remain in place for three years, with Lucton House due to undertake reaccreditation in 2029. The award reflects the home’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and developing high standards of care, while continuing to support residents to live with dignity, comfort and choice.
