Witnesses sought after man suffers serious injuries in Northfield stabbing

A man, in his twenties, remains in hospital today after being found in a Northfield street with serious stab injuries last night (Friday 24th April).

A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We were called to Frankley Beeches Road at around 10.45 pm to reports a man had been stabbed.

“A man in his 20s was taken to hospital where he remains with serious injuries.

“Detectives are carrying out a range of enquiries including speaking to people in the area and analysing CCTV, and officers remain at the scene as the investigation continues.

“Local officers are also patrolling the area for reassurance, and we would urge anyone with concerns to speak to us.”
