This year’s Halloween display at a house in Longbridge is raising funds for Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.
The home in Hewell Close is well-known for its seasonal displays and last year Jody raised £232 for the charity on Halloween night alone!
And Jody is hoping to raise even more this year, with an exciting display! She says: “From handmade witches’ brooms to a spooky Hocus Pocus “Booooook” with a moving eye, even a smoking cauldron bubbling away that I built myself — this year’s setup has it all!
“And keep an eye out for the skeletal souls clawing their way through the cursed wooden pallets… they’re dying to meet you…..”
Visitors are welcome to view the display on Thursday 30th October between 5-9pm. However for the full experience, the main special effects (like the smoke machine) will only be running on Halloween night (31st), when Jody will be out dressed as Sarah Sanderson from Hocus Pocus, handing out sweets to trick-or-treaters.
To visit, pop round to Hewell Close, off Coombes Lane, Longbridge, B31 4QY.
If you’re unable to visit but want to support the cause, you can donate online at www.bvoices.uk/hewell-oct25
