Four people arrested by the National Crime Agency on Thursday (4th September) as part of an ongoing investigation into organised immigration crime and drug supply have been charged.
Kristian Leshi, 34, and Xhulijana Trimi, 29, were apprehended at an address on Cornbrook Road, Northfield, Birmingham, and were charged with possession of class B drugs with intent to supply and possession of criminal property in relation to cannabis and a quantity of cash found at the home.
Moin Aftab, 25, and Mohemmed Sohail-Yassen, 23, were arrested at an address on Warstone Lane, Hockley, Birmingham, after officers found around two kilos of cocaine.
Both were charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
A 31-year-old man arrested at an address on Fountain Road, Birmingham, has been bailed pending further enquiries.
The four were due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court yesterday (5th September).
The NCA operation on 4th September also led to the discovery of a cannabis farm at an address in Dudley, with plants worth £78,000 removed and destroyed from the property.
Investigations continue.
