West Midlands Police have confirmed that a 40-year-old man has been arrested and a vehicle recovered in reation to this incident.

West Midlands Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian died following a hit and run collision in Longbridge last night (Sunday 21st September).
The 34 year old man was struck by a car on the pedestrian crossing outside Longbridge Train Station. The car left the scene after the collision.
The man was treated by paramedics on the scene and transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham but sadly died later. His family are being supported by specially trained officers.
Appeal
Now police have posted an appeal to trace the driver of the vehicle involved and any footage that may help.
Sergeant Rich Evans, from the WMP Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We want to trace a Jaguar I-Pace vehicle registration BO03 DGE which we believe to be involved in the collision and would appeal for anyone with any information to please contact us.
“We particularly want to speak to people who may have CCTV or dashcam footage which could help us with our enquiries.”
