West Midlands Police (WMP) are renewing their appeal to help find Ali Durrani, who has been missing for over six months.
Ali went missing on the 5th of February when he left his home in Selly Oak but never returned.
Earlier this week, WMP issued an appeal, alongside Ali’s parents, for the public to come forward with any information, no matter how small.
Police also issued a picture of a woman walking a dog who was captured in the last CCTV sighting of Ali.
Thanks to the appeal, the woman was identified and officers have spoken with her.
The 32-year-old was last seen around Middlemore Road and West Heath Road in Northfield, Birmingham, on the 6th of February.
Ali is described as being of medium build, with black hair and a black beard. He was last seen wearing a khaki raincoat with black jeans and lace up brown shoes.
A spokesperson for WMP said: “We ask that if you have any information, or if you believe you have seen Ali, to get in touch with us.”
“We have also never been able to find Ali’s phone. It was thought to be in the area around the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. It is a light-coloured iPhone 12, and we are hoping someone may have seen it or has the phone. If you find it, or even if you have the phone, we are asking that you hand it in. It could be vital to helping us find Ali.”
