Northfield Beach is set to return this summer, bringing sand, arts, crafts, sports, music, theatre and more to Victoria Common.

After taking a break last year due to being unable to secure sufficient funding, the twelfth Northfield Beach event will return thanks to Northfield Community Partnership’s (NCP) fundraising efforts – moving from Price’s Square in the high street back to Northfield’s town centre park, Victoria Common.

Situated behind Northfield Shopping Centre, the park provides a great setting for this popular family event.

Rebecca Debenham, NCP CEO, said: “We are proud that we can bring this event back, as we know it has become part of the annual events calendar for many local people. We will be bringing back our lovely beach, with deckchairs, buckets and spades and much more!”

As well as a real sand beach, the four day event will feature FREE activities music, arts, crafts, sports and much more – including dinosaurs, of course!

“As ever, all the activities that we provide will be free, and we would like to thank all our funders for making this possible. Hopefully there will be something on offer for  all the family, we look forward to welcoming you back to the beach this year.”
