“PLEASE, PLEASE, HELP US SAVE VERNON….
“This is so sad, we have been asked to help a 3yr old cane Corso boy who was hit by a train but not found for a few days ;( He has no owners
“After being taken to Blaise Referrals vets, its was found that he has a shattered femur and a potentially fractured pelvis.
“A heart scan has shown cardiomyopathy but we do not know if the cause is primary or secondary brought on by bad diet and/or inflammation and shock, also he is dehydrated and anaemic.
“The diagnosis usually would be supportive care for 2 months to see if the cardiomyopathy corrects, but this boy can’t be left 2 months as orthopaedic surgery needs to be done urgently. We need to raise around £10,000 for all his treatment and he needs the surgery tomorrow as he is bleeding into the leg and he will also need a blood transfusion. We are begging now as we need to raise £7,000 for his surgery tomorrow if he stands any chance at all.
