West Midlands Police are investigating after a man was found seriously injured in Birmingham city centre today.
Police were called by the ambulance service to Granville Street in the city centre just after 4am.
The man, in his 30s, is believed to have suffered a number of injuries and is in a serious condition in hospital today.
WMP are carrying out a number of enquiries including CCTV checks, but at this stage they do not know how he was injured.
Officers remain in the area carrying out enquiries this afternoon..
