West Midlands Police are aware of a message purporting to be from themselves advising of a new drug called “Strawberry Quick” being shared with children.
This is not a genuine message WMP and has been confirmed as a hoax.
Police are asking schools in their area to be aware of this message and to not share it more widely.
Remember, genuine messages from WMP will include a mechanism for reporting crimes, usually via 101 or Live Chat.
