West Midlands Police (WMP) have charged a teenager after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in Northfield, Birmingham, on Monday (18th Nov).

Police were called to the junction of Frankley Beeches Road and A38 Bristol Road South, at around 12.50am on Monday.

He was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries, but is now in a stable condition.

A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with attempted murder.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Thursday).

A second teenager, aged 17, has been bailed pending further enquiries.
