Fast food giant McDonald’s has launched a public consultation into plans for a new restaurant and drive-thru in south Birmingham.

The proposal is to build a new premises in Hazelwell Lane, close to Aldi.

The company’s consultation website states: “McDonald’s is committed to meaningful community engagement.  We will carefully review all feedback received before finalising and submitting a planning application to Birmingham City Council.“

The consultation period begins today (Tuesday 12th November) and will run until Tuesday 26th November, giving the opportunity to view the proposals and have your say online, by email or in person.
