West Midlands Police are investigating after shots were fired during a disturbance in Birmingham on Friday night (16th September).
Police were called to reports of a group of people fighting on Arden Road, Frankley, at around 7.50pm on Friday.
One man in his 20s suffered injuries to his shoulder and which are believed to have been caused by a machete. He remains in hospital, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
Shots were also fired during the incident, but no one else is believed to have been injured.
Two men were arrested nearby and released on bail pending further enquiries.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We’re speaking to a number of witnesses and in the process of recovering CCTV. Extra patrols will be taking place over the coming days.”
