West Mercia Police are appealing for information following a knifepoint carjacking in Kings Norton.
At around 7:15pm on Tuesday 2nd of May, police received a report from a woman who had been driving along Grimpits Lane/Goodrest Lane with her teenage daughter when she had to stop due to two teenagers being on the road, when she waved them out of the way, one of them approached her car and asked to be taken to Kings Heath.
It’s then claimed that the offender grabbed the keys out of the ignition of her car and produced a knife from within his jacket. The victim and her daughter got out of the car and the suspect drove away after the second suspect got in the car, driving off towards Red Hill Road.
The victim and her daughter ran to a nearby house and called the police.
The two suspects are described as black, aged 13-15 years old.
The stolen silver Ford Fiesta, registration EK56 WJO, later crashed in Groveley Lane in Longbridge, outside a row of houses by Primrose Court.
