The city’s popular Frankfurt Christmas Market is officially open to bring some festive cheer back to the city centre in the run up to Christmas.
The festive market was officially opened on Thursday (3rd Nov), after the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Cllr Maureen Cornish JP, joined Andy Goulding from Greatest Hits Radio to switch on the Christmas Tree lights!
It’s the 22nd time the market has visited the city and each year it attracts thousands of people from across the Midlands and further afield.
With stalls selling a tempting array of food and drink, traditional toys, ornaments and gifts, will fill New Street and Victoria Square for seven weeks.
The big wheel and ice rink also returned to Centenary Square and runs from 3 November 2022 until 8 January 2023, between 10am and 10pm, except on Christmas Day. Â Find out more and book tickets online.

It’s open daily, 10am-9pm until 23 December.
