A Rednal pair have been remanded following the recovery of drugs and knives in Redditch car stop.

On Tuesday 15th November, detectives from North Worcestershire Proactive CID, acting on locally sourced intelligence stopped a car at Tesco Extras Petrol Station on Coldfield Drive in Redditch.

A search of the car and occupants lead officers to recover a substantial amount of class A drugs, several mobile phones, cash and also two knives.

One man and two women were arrested on suspicion of committing drug offences.

On Wednesday 16th of October two of the suspects were charged with five offences; Kian Rheilly who is 19 years old and from Rednal in Birmingham was charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

Georgia Butler who is 23 years old and also from Rednal was charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell class A drugs.

Both were remanded to Kidderminster Magistrates Court and will appear at Worcester Crown Court on Wednesday 14th December 2022.
