Shaun the Sheep delivers post to thrilled residents and raises over £1200 for Alzheimer’s Society.
The local ‘Legend Postie’ has been at it again, and we love it!
Julie Felton: “Residents in Northfield B31, around Shenley Lane, had their post delivered by Shaun the Sheep when their dedicated postman Dave O’Neill did his annual collection for the Alzheimer’s Society.
“Raising £1,291 – peoples generosity evidences how much Alzheimer’s impacts on so many of us.
“Over the last 10 years Dave has raised the incredible amount of £7,500 dressed as Superman, Robin Hood, Batman(wwwbvoices.uk/3QnteaG), Spider-Man and a variety of other hero’s.
“Special thanks go to Janette of Longmynd Road who always gets into the spirit of Daves chosen attire, her Mum Rose and neighbour Gwen.
“Thank you to everyone who supported Dave’s collection and an extra special thank you to you Dave for being so dedicated to raising funds in memory of your Nan.”
