West Midlands Police are investigating after a man was assaulted outside a pub on Lickey Road, Cofton Hackett around 11.30pm last night (20 November).
The man in his 20s suffered a broken jaw during the disorder which involved several people outside the Old Hare & Hounds pub.
He is currently awaiting an operation at the QE Hospital.
Officers are reviewing CCTV and making enquiries.
